Chris Rywalt currently writes, draws, inks, letters, and publishes Sunday 2AM, usually on Sunday mornings around 2AM. He lives in Jersey, bless his heart, and has access to all the great East Coast arts and humanities, with little of the expenses. Well, perhaps too many of the expenses; it is Jersey after all.

Rywalt has been producing web content since 1993, shortly after Al Gore invented the internet. Disseminating Discordia and making Buckminster Fuller less ignored filled his time for a while, but he moved on to...other things. His tenure as an art critic provided the kind of acerbic humor the art world is so direly in need of, yet never embraces. His critique (and rare praise) of fine art in New York began as observational writing, focusing on technique and style, but became something more as he continued analyzing the sources of inspiration and how artists chose to express the unseen into our lives. Where the line of art critique and social commentary blur is where you'll find his reviews.

Throughout his years of writing, his sense of pathos and passion wend their way into all his publications. In Sunday 2AM, Rywalt has crystallized his observations, his philosophy, his cynicism, and that underlying hope that has bled through all the work he has published over the years. As a reader and a fan, I look forward to seeing where he goes, how he explores the relationships, and as always, what happens next.
